Tangled Roots Brand Identity

Melanie approached me in need of a brand identity for her new gift box business. After struggling with her own identity after having her first child, Melanie started her business to help women reconnect with their previous selves before they became mothers.

With this is mind, we created her branding based on her favourite quote:

'Growing apart doesn't change the fact that for a long time we grew side by side; our roots will always be tangled. I'm glad for that.' - Ally Condie

This quote expresses how our friendships shape us and make us who we are. The business and it’s branding celebrates that, as the boxes are designed to be given to friends whether they are or are not part of our day to day lives but still hold an important place in our hearts and lives.
